The SEZ “Morport Aktau” was established on the basis of Decree No. 853 of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 26, 2002. The further functioning and development of the SEZ are carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of special economic and industrial zones, taking into account amendments and additions introduced in the prescribed manner. |

Territory |
The total territory of the SEZ “Morport Aktau” exceeds 10,000 hectares and may be subject to change in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In accordance with the approved Master Plan, the SEZ is structurally composed of 17 subzones, including port, industrial, and logistics areas, as well as individual land plots forming part of the SEZ. |
