Meeting regarding implementation of governmental program took place in SEZ Aktau Seaport.

New training program for jobless young people was started in Mangistau region.

It implies further relocation and employment of young people to economically favorable regions. For program implementation regional youth service center will be founded. Mobile employment center will be opened there to educate and inform young unemployed people from countryside.

In this respect a meeting was held on September 29, 2015 where representatives of Mangistau Employment Center provided information to members of SEZ Aktau Seaport carrying out their projects in SEZ. During the meeting SEZ members familiarized with the governmental program Zhana Serpim.

According to Gulmira Kalmuratova the program is intended for training of young people for employment in innovative projects in the region. In Mangistau region Aktau and Kuryk are identified as growth areas, where new plants are planned to be built.

‘The program includes a set of actions funded with local budget and extra-budget accounts aiming to train redundant young people for work at new plants’ – Gulmira Kalmuratova said.

For program implementation regional youth service center will be founded. Mobile employment center will be opened there to educate and inform young unemployed people from countryside.

‘There will be a lot of opportunities at this center. It will work on the same principle as entrepreneur service centers. It is important that employers do not hire people from other regions but involve our specialists’ – Gulmira Kalmuratova mentioned.

Today it was agreed with new project initiators in the region about 10% quota for employment of local jobless young people. It also applies to all enterprises in the special economic zone of Aktau Seaport. The program includes qualification exams at the end of training.
