International investment forum «INVESTMENT DAYS OF MANGYSTAU 2016»

International Investment Forum «Investment Days of Mangystau» is a modern platform for efficient dialogue between the business and the government created for a discussion of future investment and innovative perspective of our country, and a presentation of scale projects of Mangystau region.

It is the centralized platform for the search and receipt of investment, innovations technologies, and experience sharing. This territory combines efforts of large, medium and small business’ on the way of socio-economic acceleration development of Kazakhstan.

Sound investment policy of the last decades has become an impulse for launching some of the most challenging and ambitious innovation projects, that successfully operates within the territory of the region and special economic zone. The region rapidly augments its potential through efficient involvement into development of representatives of large, medium and small business, government and foreign companies.

Over 500 delegates from more than 20 countries have expressed a desire to participate in the Forum. Our guests will go on a fascinating tour visiting enterprises of the SEZ “MorPort Aktau”.

During the site visits, delegates will see plants’ capacities, advanced technologies in production process, as well as discuss the latest achievements and potential of Special Economic Zone.

The Forum will open Mangystau’s potential as the Transport and Infrastructure Hub on the Eurasian space along the route of the Silk Road. In addition, the preconditions for the development of industries, such as, tourism, agriculture, construction, the development and modernization of housing and communal services will be discussed.

About 30 delegates and investors from 10 countries arrived in Mangistau region to take part in the first major investment forum. The event was held with the participation of the head of the region, the leaders of Kazakhstan and foreign invest - companies as well as directors of financial institutions. The Forum aims to attract investments for the implementation of projects that were presented at the exhibition in the framework of the forum. It's 30 projects in various sectors. During the plenary session it signed a number of memoranda between large foreign investors and Mangistau region.
